WELL CONSTRUCTION & DRILLING
CROWN is experienced in drilling wells designed correctly in terms of location, depth, screen level, filter design and pumping system. If these aspects are not engineered to high standards then poorly performing and uneconomic wells may result.
WELL DESIGN & ENGINEERING
Crown offers complete engineering services for the design and construction of water wells.
Design – We carry out hydro-geological desk studies, water resource assessments and the design of individual wells and well fields
Equipment – We install a wide range of equipment for water wells, including drilling products, well screens, well cleaning treatments, submersible pumps, discharge pipework and electrical controls
Drilling and installation – We act as drilling contractors for the installation of wells by a wide range of methods
SUBSURFACE IMAGING
Well siting involves finding the drilling site that yields water or offers alternatives at reduced cost. That’s the purpose for the Pre-drilling Hydro-geological Assessment.

EXPLORATORY DRILLING
Exploratory Well Drilling is done for the purpose of discovering new water reserves in unproven areas. CROWN provides well exploratory drilling services throughout California for contractors, home owners and business owners seeking to find new supplies of water.
We start by guiding you through the process of getting a water well drilling permit in California. Our experience and expertise in well drilling will you determine the best places to drill exploratory wells on your property. We use our state-of-the-art water well drilling equipment in order to make a minimal impact on the environment while finding you a new supply of water.
PUMPING SYSTEM DESIGN & INSTALLATION
Once a water well has been drilled, constructed and a supply of water has been obtained, CROWN can design and install a quality water pump system that matches the well with the volume and press requirements required.
Well pump systems typically include a jet pump or submersible well pump, a booster pump, and a water tank and pressure switches to control the flow of your well water. Based on your well design and depth, CROWN will determine whether a submersible well pump or jet pump may be the best solution for your system and if a booster pump is needed.
Proper design of your water well pumping system is critical for a consistent water flow and pressure as well as longevity. CROWN can provide water well drilling, pump system design and installation for all types of wells and applications.
GEOTHERMAL
Geothermal and ground energy systems can provide sustainable low carbon heating and cooling for buildings and industrial processes, to ensure lower energy bills and lower carbon emissions. These systems work by exploiting the thermal mass of the ground at ‘ambient’ temperatures from soils and rocks.
Successful design and installation of geothermal systems requires a combination of drilling expertise, hydro-geological knowledge and engineering capability. CROWN has the experience and skills to deliver effective geothermal solutions.
WELL SERVICES | RE-ENTRY | REHABILITATION
It is essential that water wells and boreholes operate reliably and efficiently throughout their operational life. After years of continued operation, pumped wells may show a gradual reduction in performance, evidenced by loss of yield or increase in drawdown in the wells. These operational problems are often associated with clogging or encrustation of wells or pumps as a result of chemical and bacterial processes occurring in the well. CROWN provides rehabilitation services for clogged and plugged wells, either in response to operational problems, or as part of a planned pro-active maintenance regime
ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY
Environmental drilling can be performed safely with proper pre-fieldwork planning and proactive adjustment of planned safe work procedures to actual conditions in the field. CROWN is an experienced driller that understands how to predict and prevent environmental hazards that may be encountered during drilling fieldwork.
